has anyone changed there bolts from allen to cross head for example. i keep rounding allen keys and bolts and it just annoying

You will round cross heads far easier, don't overtighten screws or use too much threadlock, also get a decent set of Allen drivers. You could also use better screws or even stainless screws but stick with the hex head.

Use a dab of the thust bearing grease on the screw when you screw it into the plastic. A little lubrication makes it easier, less force needed, less chance to strip something.

A quality hex driver is a must on these buggys, but if your'e going to swap the screws out, go for some 12.9 grade hex ones.
