Question Returning to racing mardave but need some help

I am planning on making a return to racing my mardave v12 after not racing for at least 6 months

My car is in bits and needs rebuilding and could do with some new tyres and bits

Firstly what tyres is everyone running ?

I have been looking at the trued and glued jap med for the fronts and pink med for the back , are these a good base to start with ?

Also i think it could do with a new brushed motor but what is the latest one as there are a few bobbing about ?

thanks for reading and all help appreciated
see you at the track soon

Motor could be Speed passion v3.0 13.5t, or look at others on BRCA 12th Scale electric motors. Tyres - a lot of people have changed to Contact trued and glued I think 35 shore rears and 37 shore fronts. I will double check and post for you tomorrow. Remember if you are coming to Ribble we are open tomorrow then closed for two weeks , then we re open until Xmas.

There are a mixture of dffs and no diffs but I understand that the diff from the supastox shumacher is better than the mardave one, I dont use one yet.

Hi used to be the top runner at ribble tyres you need for the track is 32sh at the start as the grip comes up go to 35sh as for front tyres all's that you will ever need is the contact 50/60 front just need to play with additives.... Add more for more front attesting or less for less.... As for diff go for the schuy diff it's the best ..

Cheers
Dan
