Usually for RC use like helicopter , frame , blade , canopy and Car parts , builders prefer black Colour , As it fit the RC Product 's colour . G10 is a good choice for building Parts actually , As it's much more cost saving then Carbon material up to now

I 'm sure Carbon material is more used in RC Car than G10 material though more expensive .

CF is lighter and stiffer so better suited for the top pilotes who want to get perfect adjustability from the set-up and shave the last grams. But for weekend racer like most of us G10 is a good alternative: a little heavier chassis helps to lower the center of gravity and the little more flex helps generate grip even with a little les perfect suspension set-up. It's cheaper to replace on wear and it's less brittle so won't break that easy on ahigh-speed crash or bad landing of a jump. The flex will also help in taking some of the impact that would go into other parts with a stiffer chassis.
Oh and on a side note: since it's an insulator it's a bit safer around your electronics and batteries; including the dust that's generated during building and modifications. |
