Default CR2 steering

I've recently been talking to Brian Preddy about my CR2 (I've recently got rid of my C4.1 and gone back to the CR2 as the C4.1 quality was kack! I'm sure Jonathon's future S2-Evo will be soooooo much better)

He mentioned that when he was running a CR2, him and a lot of the other team drivers were running the Bellcrank style steering mechanism. I currently have the Rack style as this was all I thougtht was available for the XXXCR.

I've found this on the XXXCR set up sheets:

However, I am really struggling to find the part number for the bellcrank style steering mechanism and was hoping somebody may be able to help me out?!

Also, can anybody who has run both style of steering mechanism's back to back tell me the different handling characteristics.......

Many thanks, Jon.

I can't remember the part numbers but I can confirm I preferred the bellcrank steering.

Rack steering - initial turn in was nice but would then push.

Bellcrank - steered better and more consistently through the whole turn.

Perfect... thank you Northy.

All I need now is the part number and I'm good to give them a try!

Jon.

Bellcrank was much nicer to drive and consistent.
