Default Pillow balls vs Ball & bolt

Hi peeps.
Just noticed that Kyosho seem to chop n change in their Lazer series between dedicated Pillow balls (5.8mm x 2.6/3mm) and a 5.8mm ball with a bolt through the middle.
Does anyone remember racing these and have any feedback with strength issues or maintentence??

You can just pop off the ball ends from the pillow balls. But did the fall off during racing?

Which system was a later release by kyosho and which system is regarded to be better?

Cheers guys
Nick

I prefer buying the associated tc ball joints and associated ball joints as they are a better product. Never liked the balls you screwed through as if it came lose caused problems.
