I have a Sanwa Gemini II that comes with a 700mah re-chargeable NiCd pack and simple wall charger that just has an LED when on. I am puzzled however about this charger and there is no mention of it in the manual I have.
From other forum posts I have learnt that the battery needs charging over night for between 12-14 hours which seems to work but I have two issues with this. I am unsure if it discharges the battery first? and I am worried about over changing it as the charge light never goes off? To solve this I have thought about using my LRP Pulsar Competition Charger to discharge and charge it but did not know what rate to discharge and charge it at? Does anyone else use one of these or have another comments on what I should do? Thanks in advanced John |

Don't believe the Sanwa charger is capable of a discharge, can charge off your charger, half or an Amp should do the trick. Trouble with discharging is you cannot do each cell, so not much point I would have thought. We often charge off the race charger if we were worried the tranny's getting flat at meetings. |

JK, you're thinkng about it way too much. It's a cheapo battery that you plug in the night before you race and forget about. It's that simple
