Which position did you qualify on the grid?
If you qualified lower than the racer that finished 4th then he would have better score for qualifying, then if you finished higher than them in the final then the points can equal out.... as both qualifying and final position count for overall points scoring. |

The points are done by adding the points for your position in qualifying to the points for your position in the final.
Points for qualifying would be 100 points for first place, 99 for second place, 98 for third and 97 for fourth, etc. Points for finals would work the same so 100 points for first, 99 for second etc. Winner of the B final would get 90 points, 2nd in the b 89, etc.. So you qualified fourth and came second in the final 97 + 99 = 196 Daniel qualified 3rd and came 3rd: 98 + 98 = 196 Jez qualified second and came fourth : 99 + 97 = 196 This is the same system that is used in the 2wd and 4wd series as well. Obviously it looks a bit strange that there are three people with exactly the same points but that is just the way it worked out.
