Default X6 Motor Mount

in carbon fibre

worked a treat all weekend, indoors @ TRCC on Sat night & @ the NERCR regional. Cooked the motor both days and plate remained intact

(green fibre's are from TRCC's astro turf)

yep all's OK.

Same thread as gearbox screws. All I did was to run a larger headed screw through 1st to cut a thread. Haven't got a tap.

Screw hasn't backed it's self out and neither have the gearbox screws.

If anyones intrested in them I should be able to get a batch cut as well as some anti-squat Shimz for those that haven't got them. There soooooooo easy to use. You'd wonder how you managed before you had them

I would be interested but my concern is on the lack of cooling which is what the alloy is good at.

Can't you just get some of that Carbon effect sticker stuff and cover your current X-6 motor mount....

Sorry.... just overdosed on E-numbers in fizzy drinks from our company drinks machine.

most folk run a fan these days so the alloy motor plates can't be doing much in what ever car they run, on & off road
