Question lexan paint remove?

hi does anyone know if its possible to remove paint off a lexan bodyshell and then repaint the shell or is there any special stuff that can be use ? cheers steve.d

I know a lot of people that have used nitro fuel. With great success.

yep

i have used brake fluid before. with all the work that you will put into removing the old paint, then the risk of the old paint leaving some stains on the lexan or old score marks showing and ruining your new paint job, just buy a new shell

my bf told me about the brake fluid, didnt quite believe him, so he showed me and i was amazed, i thought nothing got the paint off, but hmmmm doesnt quite make the shell look good as new LOL so now its somewhere in the back of the garage and new body on the way haha

oooo we used dot 4 brake fluid, but think we went wrong by not having the patience to leave it, we were scrubbing at it more than that dude, prob got it all off in half hour, but our end result was a fair bit more scuffed/misty looking than his, soooo patience pays off, atleast i know for next time... also, the green shell looked niiiice lol
