Mrt pro problem
Lost a lot of laps last weekend not being picked up for nearly 50% at one point, wasn't aware of a problem but certainly seems I have one.
What's the chances this just playing up, could it be more likely placement ? . Was bottom down straight on the chassis just behind the servo and next to the esc. Not going to leave it to chance and ruin racing this weekend, has anybody dealt with mrt will they check them out for you ?

Stick it on top of the servo and it will be fine. Mine did the same the first time I used it and I had it stuck to the chassis, since moving it it's never missed a beat.

Haven't tried it since the weekend, I'll take a spare with me this weekend just in case.
Car is xb2c yes on the alloy chassis, I've moved it onto the left side rail toward the front next to the servo by the sounds of it alloy chassis could be the problem. Is it important to keep these flat ? Thanks for the reply all !

I had similar with MRT mounted on battery brace. Moved it to servo mounted and problem went away
In YZ2 so also alloy chassis

I had the same problem. My solution was a 4block piece of lego mount that to the chassis then mount pt on top. Job done. My 8year old son thinks its great that ive got lego on my buggy. Needed someting quick to try but decided to keep it on there.

Same here, squeezed mine onto the chassis to try and get it nice and neat.
What a waste of time. Just stuck to the side rail now. |

The way transponders work the signal is sent out sideways not up and down.
Usually it isnt a problem to lay them flat, but if your signal is starting to get weaker, turn it sideways as that is the way it actually works for best signal response. So instead of on the top of a servo, mount it on the side. |

Interesting, so sat upright in one of the side rail pockets was A. Good. Idea.
