Angry WHY SCHUMACHER, WHY? K1 hole?

WHY, Have you decided to pre drill holes for the antenna in the K1 Shell?

I do not run an antenna and many like me do not run one, most 2.4ghz systems, have short antenna wires, no need for an antenna.

I have a hole in the shell i do not want. just had a £35 paintjob and thats awsome, but with a random hole in it, has truly annoyed me. Looks crap in my opinion.

Not a happy chappy, you never drilled them before, why start now?

Truly a terrible decision. Love the car otherwise. this has annoyed me loads thou.

I would say, 1/4 of cars i see running round the track have an antenna now. This seems like a mad thing to start doing now.

if your biggest gripe about the K1 is a pre-drilled body hole then it must be a superb kit

ITS Awsome, I love it truly.

But the hole in the shell has really annoyed me. Need some one else to make a shell for it now so i dont have to have an unwanted hole in the shell. Really unhappy about it.

Daz

Whilst it is true that many people install the antenna inside the body shell Spektrum recommend "best practice" installation to be 'inside a vertical aerial tube with the tip as high as practical.'

Don't let vanity compromise performance you grumpy old git!

The wire is not long enough to be in a tube. my statement stands, simple.

Not grumpy. Just really annoyed about it. REALLY!!!!

I have never had one second of interferance in ANY of my buggies with the antenna wire inside the body.

The hole is not wanted and i hate it.

I expect the next meeting to see one of your cars fly off on its own

That would piss me off a bit as well, I had kinda the same feeling when I got my TLR22 and found the body shell to be really badly cut out.

I think it should be left in one piece.
