Whats the difference between the K1, K1 aero and K2
Can anyone shed any light on the difference please.

I dont know that much about the K1, other than the motor shaft and slipper faces the right side of the car rather than the left side on the K2. I have never driven the K1 so not sure how they go, my K2 seems pretty good so far.

K1: ball diffs, higher shock towers
K1 aero: gear diffs, lower shock towers A few subtle chassis differences between the 2 K2: lots of different parts. Drove the k2 recently and found it had more steering than the k1 but would loose the rear quite easily compared to the k1. Hth

Hi, main differences from k1 aero and k2 are as follows
New motor mount and lay shaft, quad pad slipper giving better adjustment,k1 and aero dual slipper set up, remember will need 4 pads each time you replace so extra costs, front and rear top decks rather than 1 piece over the top on k1 meaning easier maintenance, basic set up is for shorty Lipo rather than saddle packs, captured ball ends all through on turnbuckles and steering arms rather than standard Ball connectors, some people like them some don't, I have replaced standard turnbuckles with 3.5mm Lunsford ones as standard ones felt a little loose and had to be adjusted after every race, different Ackerman set up as now attached to front top decks, heavier duty front wishbone pin set up, maybe a few more minor changes if anyone can add to list

A quick input from me having owned both the K1 Aero and the K2. The K2 is easier to work on and much easier to drive especially on bumpy circuits. I found with the K1 is was very hard to push the car over bumpy sections. The K2 is so forgiving and stable in these areas. The K2 is a huge improvement from my experience.

Hello mullan, I see you live in Bolton. If you have transport have a ride down to ribble rc club in leyland on a friday night, I have a k1 aero you can have a look at and I know their are people running k1 n k2's.
