FYI,
recently had an interesting question from a Scottish racer about the use of Gyro's, specifically "Drift Gyro's", in 1/10th off-road racing. The answer from Paul Worsley as I assumed the case would be: Hi John, I am not familiar with the equipment used on 'Drift Cars', but I assume they use a gyro connected to the steering. If this is the case, they are specifically not allowed at Off-Road events. With the exception of Speedo programs, anything that directly controls the car (instead of the driver) is not allowed. Check rules 23.12 and 23.13. Best regards, Paul. 1/10th Off-Road rules: http://www.brca.org/?q=sections/subs...on-rules/13871 Maybe one day someone will come up with something innovative but unfortunately this isn't it. Keep the thinking caps on ![]()
