Default carbon fibre parts, shiney edges

I have 2 new buggies, and my OCD with wiring is rather all consuming LOL, but I love things neat and tidy,

my carisma GTB is all carbon and may get the treatment too LOL, so that 3 buggies to do

Ive seen carbon parts with shiney edges and as I appreciate and understand it must help with delamination etc, I mainly love it because it looks great.

is this hard and messy to do??
