Default esc / motor problem

Hi all, hoping someone may be able to share some advice and help

my 4wd buggy has a HW2.1 ESC flashed with the upgraded software

Ive had problems with motor/power shutting down/car dying after full throttle and then braking

to try and isolate issues I have gone through the ESC and turned off voltage protection, thermal protection etc, but still does it

motor is 6.5 orca TX

I have turned off boost and turbo and put punch to minimum

end of straight I usually brake before the sweeper just to get car slowed a bit and into the astro then turn in and punch it again, but with the 4wd I cant do it as every other lap or so it will just die and then maybe 1 to 1.5 seconds later it will work again

been having a read online and now Im wondering about either the power caps on the ESC? or putting a capacitor across the receiver pins?

I read about savox servos causing brown out and voltage going too low for the receiver

I dont have savox, I run oirion or corrally, but as its 4wd with 6.5, could this be a similar issue?

have a regional meeting in 2 weeks and would like to sort before then
