Interesting layout in the RB6, I was looking at the options to mount a shorty across the car this weekend. Initially I am looking at having it more forward than you have yours, similar position to the rear saddle in normal trim.
Some nice cars there mate. |

Thanks Roger.
I didn't really like how the car was handling and the rc guru from Belgium (Elvo) was also not impressed with the car. So we did some measurements and found out that the weight distribution with the classic saddle pack lay out is way of. Like this it's 41/59!! With the shorty lay out and the extra motor weight + under lipo weight + 35gr in front of the motor I am at 36/64 with a total weight of 1595gr Like this the car has crazy drive, more predictable steering and the car is more stable and balanced |

Yes, but with the weight hanging in the back so that affects the handling.
A X6 also has a 35/65 weight distribution and is still one of the best all round handling cars. |

The RB6 forward weight distribution is part of what makes it so nice to drive on high grip surfaces, I agree with the measurements @ circa 41/59.
I'm looking at getting a little more weight off the front of the car when grip is lower so that we can run a softer front end setup to try and make the car a little less reactive. Probably should continue this discussion in the main RB6 thread. |

I have modified my senter shaft with an yokomo cabon shaft. I had to do some modification on it, but it works fine. Save almost 10g
There is also an tamiya alu cup. lazer.JPG

New season paint for my lazer and RB6
Both shells are from Penguin Custom Bodyshells, RB6 extends all the way to the tower and has a bit less of an upright cab than standard, and the lazer has a bit more cab up front than the shoot shell but is a lot nicer looking than the bulldog, IMHO of course
