Handmade CR2 Project
hi all
i desided to make my own cr2 for a bit of a chalinge. i had a xxx-cr and an old spair chassie. i had to dremal the back of the chassie out and put nuts and bolts through the back to hold the rear plate on. for the rear holes in the plate i got anouther rear plate and layed it ontop the other way round and lined up the 4 outside holes. i still need to put a brace to stop the rear flexing but its not bad for a 13 year olds work(with no help so far) DSC00036.JPG DSC00034.JPG DSC00064.JPG DSC00063.JPG DSC00068.JPG DSC00067.JPG

Good job so far! Just make sure you have a spare t piece predrilled... I did something similar and the extra holes make the t piece quite weak... As for the bracing try putting a post eother side of the battery tray about half way down the chassis, then use two turnbuckles up to the two hole on the gear box.. Hope that helps

Looks good, but I'd countersink the bolts which are proud at the rear of the chassis.
