Cougar SV idler
I know this issue has been raised before with the cat2. I have read the threads. I have just purchased a cougar SV pro and when i tell people that i have brought one they just laugh and say "hope you have a Big wallet for spares and the drive system as they just burn out.
Now that people have had them for a while has the initial problem been erased by placing grease on the gears or or schumacher now providing better idler gears. The reason i ask is i dont want to run it if its going to cost £30 / £40 each time i do, or when you do run it its in the back of your mind good will it break. I know that schumacher do a good job with there cars as i run there touring cars, i just wanted to know if this was a teething problem with a new car which has now been sorted. Thanks for your advise in advance |

theres no car out there thats going to cost 30-40 quid a run in spares, thats a little bit of a silly statement really made buy one person, yes there was a couple of teething issues, these have been addressed, spares are no dearer than any other car out there, and breakages down to driver error not the car,
