Default traxxas restoration projects

Hello i have a number of traxxas cars to restore throughout this year and thought to share some of my restored ones and the ones i am currently restoring. So where do i begin early in 2010 i swapped a hpi savage truckzilla for a lot of 6 rc cars in total amongst them where two very poorly maintained traxxas trx1's which took me about 6 months for the one to be restored and then a further 2 months for the second since i knew where to get the parts from. Also in the lot i received i had a number of chargers and a motor dresser. Time for some pictures
This is how they looked when i first got them home with the electronics and chargers;

Now for the after pictures for the first trx just trying to source some old electronics for it now;

Also a video of its first run since being rebuilt

And for the second trx which i decided to chose to do something alot different to it

thank you for looking will be updating with more pictures of other restoration jobs.
Now need to find a vintage running club

Ha ha - that 'Endura' charger is for charging lead acid car batteries - my dad had one - you could change the output voltage between 12v & 6v, which my Dad needed for his 6v 60s Beetle. The Blue Tokomo Pro-slope charger was state of the art in the early 90s for charging R/C car batteries.

Those TRX1s look great, I love the fact that you have restored them back to running condition & are not afraid to use them
