Gloss might be the ticket, emulsion might come off if they get wet.

as bert says just a fabric dye such as dylon, mix in a jar of warm water and soak, only do it on plain new wheels though as it wont dye through super glue

the wheels can be done used if the glues been removed make the water is WARM ben tried this but with cold and the wheels didnt quite come out as expected

yeh my wheels were in a tub of pink dye for months on end and they came out pink but not very pink lol. Would definatley reccomend using warm water dyes.
