Bfast diff, and others?
Hi,
I’ve got a mad rat, and I’m interested in upgrading the diff, in particular getting hold of the Bfast diff kit. I’m based in uk and was wondering who is the best supplier for the Bfast diff kit? On previous threads people say it is good value for money, yet it seemed quite a few $$ @ $28… from America… Any advice much appreciated. Do people just get it from America? Joe |

If it's any help, I use:
Xray diff washers/plates: http://insidelineracing.co.uk/new-pr...0-2025-details Or the standard Team C diff washers should be fine: http://insidelineracing.co.uk/new-pr...g-1415-details New thrust race: http://insidelineracing.co.uk/new-pr...t-race-details 3\32" ceramic diff balls: http://insidelineracing.co.uk/new-pr...l-2082-details New diff screw set (I don't always replace this if it's not damaged etc): http://insidelineracing.co.uk/new-pr...nt-set-details

Thank you for the reply, was absolutely excellent, really helpful.
How long does that setup last you? & Are you fussy about greases used? |

Associated black grease on the thrust race:

If you want to replace the original screw with a hex head stainless version at the same time, I have some for sale. 3 for £1.50 posted.
I would recommend Budsballs.co.uk for ceramic balls. He stocks suitable ceramic thrust bearings too. Gave me a very smooth diff.

Anyone know a different spring you could use? I think the original one is pretty crap and have to crank up the screw almost fully to get it tight enough not to slip. I've also used the gasket spacer mod behind AE plates too
