Micro Baja won'T charge ??
Help !
Just got a Losi Micro Baja. set it all up and plugged in the charger. Nothing.. it's supposed to light up to let you know it's charging. There's no light and the car doesn't work after trying to charge for a few mins. I've tried different batteries, nothing. I put a voltmeter actoss the plg thin on the charger and it reads zero ! If I take a reading from the batteries inside, I get a nice 14 volts or so. Anyone experienced this kind of thing. Is the charger a dud, should I get a reading on the voltmeter, or does it only kick in when the battery is connected ?? Cousl it be the battery ? Bugger..... |

If your truck is new then this can be normal. Try just leaving the battery connected for a while (even though the light indicates it is not charging) and then try (several times if neccasary) to charge the battery by connnetcing and re-connecting. This often "activates" the cells and they will be fine from then on.
All that happans is the charger does not "recognise the correct voltage of the battery when it is connected, so it trickles a small amount of charge into the truck battery to "get it going" then usually it is fine Hope this works for you

My Micro-T was the same. Just leave it plugged in for a while, disconnect it and then plug it in and all should be well.
