what are you guys doing about internal limiters in shocks (specifically rear). i'm finding most setup sheets suggest not to use any, but my rear drive shaft on the left is close to the edge in my opinion and seem to shake around when the car is rolling around.
the rear diff does seem to be further to the right of the car giving less plunge but only a mm or two and i can't shim it any further in the other direction. any thoughts much appreciated.

I had the same issue when building my kit so I put 1mm limiters in the front and 2mm limiters in the rear. Still could not get the 27mm of shock shaft I was shooting for with out stripping the shock end so I put b44.2 shock ends on . They are 1mm shorter and my droop was spot on with full out drive to drive pin engagement and still had adjustment . Hope this helps. |

Ball Diff for the III: B4-501BS!
Curious how it will perform. The ball diff in the II was sweet.

I am also thinking about getting this buggy tomorrow.
Do you have any advice for me? Which parts should I buy for the build up? Is there anything I should focus on when building? Thanks |

Get it. It's awesome. Build it to kit. It doesn't need anything. Apart from fitting AE pistons, I haven't changed a thing.
Go for it.

Where in Vienna would you buy this car today? I don't know any shop that has it in stock... Will you race the car on carpet tracks or do you build it for the Outdoor season? Where do you race? |

By using google: http://www.manis-rcshop.at/RC+Cars/Buggy+1-10/
It's not located in Vienna, but at least it's in Austria. You can also ask http://www.nitro4u.at/ to order it for you since they are a Yokomo dealer. They are located in Vienna . Else there are also options for you to get it from several places throughout Europe. Good luck.

Gear diffs are all a bit new to me, probably last time I used one would have been in an Optima.
Can anyone recommend what weight oil would give a safe set up front and rear to start with, I was thinking of possibly using a slightly lighter oil in the front. Track would be astroturf, either Kidderminster or Telford, so probably slippy to start with and the if lucky the grip may come up during the day. Also do people fit the extra O rings, or not. Thanks
