Track would be astroturf, either Kidderminster or Telford, so probably slippy to start with and the if lucky the grip may come up during the day.

Also do people fit the extra O rings, or not.

Thanks
run 7k or 10k all round for starters as you are on relatively high traction. get a feel for what the car is doing.
I currently run 7k front, 10k rear on indoor low traction and car is best its been.
I run the orings.

I race at both Kidderminster and Telford, i use 10k front and 7k rear as it gives i a good balance. Yes add the extra O rings.

Another thing I've found with this car is the stiffer rear springs and kit 1.5mm anti roll bar really help with rear grip. I had gone lighter and lighter spring and no roll bar on the xray, and it was loose. found the same on this car. so went to heaviest spring and roll bar I had and rear is locked. nought heavier springs and rear improved. again I should have tried this on the xb4, but it was the opposite of what everyone and setup sheets/guides were telling me to do in low traction.

What extra spares do people recommend to carry in your pit box?

Not yet. Still going strong. Both L&R got destroyed? That's pretty odd.

I've had one fail in the first two weeks of running the car. The CVD cup shattered in light indoor use. I'll dig out the pieces and take a photo, if i haven't binned it?

Been fine since I replaced it with parts from MB Models. Not sure if they were bmax 2 or 3 parts? part no. BM-010FAC. I've also kept a rear one spare just in case: BM-010RAC

That's unusual. That's a B-max4 II part also. Fingers crossed I haven't had any bother.

Yet.......

I've heard a few reports of these shattering on the III, wondering if a batch have been hardened to much. I had one on the II get a hairline crack a long time ago, which I only noticed when the car was stripped down.

i did have a small problem on sunday, on the rear right hand side the wheel come off in 3 heats, later found the rear drive pin snapped so solid ones are now in place and fingers crossed it should be good to go again

Do I need the aluminium rear hubs?

I heared that team drivers use them because they proveide more steering.

Is this true?

You don't need them. But in theory they should flex less in comparison with the plastic hubs. If you have the money for it, you can buy them. You won't be that much faster. Maybe more consistent.. if you feel the difference at all. I don't think so.
