After having made fun of you Lazer-Nerds a few pages back I have to hang my head in shame and admit that I have joined your ranks and have bought one myself

I have no idea what I have just bought and will be pestering you with questions about what version I have just aquired as soon as it gets here

God I always loved the car and couldn't afford it when I was 15 so am well chuffed with the buy

Oh, you're here too! It's all good, I know it's (will be) in good hands.

I've forgotten about it actually with the help of a DB01R and a B44. I came here on Oople to search for DB01 info, and found this thread!

Nerds were not, crazy yes especially as this was a great design. Ask anything you want. I have already a friend who can make plastic bits for this car already and we have already found a belt maker, as well as body shells and gear covers maker as well so you can race this and not worry about breaking anything, even though that will be very hard to do as the car is rather strong. Check out www.radiocontrolzone.com and look at the lazer zx, zxr, alpha thread and you will see most tests and developments done on this car to make it more user friendly as well as a more stable platform for todays competition.

I would like my New lazer with either a Box Art Paint Job or one of the Guys from ebay who do Paint jobs daily? This lazer was respected! Not bashed like many on Ebay! Check out ebay now and some Ebayer is asking 200 for a WELL USED lazer with scraped chassis, rusty turnbuckles, and stock differentials. Even has a non Kyosho body included...and 1700 MaH Batteries? Do you get what you pay for? PS I hope someone gets the ball rolling on making a Lazer ZXR Repro Body.

Already one step ahead. The lazer zxs shell has been copied from my shell and just fits the lazer zx/zxr and now ive given a parma tomcat shell which should be readily available sometime soon and i will chase him on the zxr shell and gearcover as he has been sent them as well.

Belts, I am unsure if there are any more rears or fronts anymore, but I may have ordered the last few rear belts that were available when I ordered your kick up plate so will investigate and your more than welcome to have one.

Cant find the shell anymore, it was by chance I saw it and didnt save the link GUTTED!!!!

Any way I have talked to Kamtec, and Keith says the next couple of months he may actually get around to finally finishing off the ZXR shell and gear cover molds for us, but he is a one man shop so takes a bit of time for him to catch up.
