Just checking Darren, as I've just ordered one for the 24 hour

Cheers for all the pointers guys, ive ended up ordering a normal Cat SX kit. The phil booth car made more sense as it came with the spring set and updated rear link but i like building a car so i had no choice really. Been told that as mine is the latest spec kit it will come with the revised rear link but il have to wait til it arrives to find out. Not sure what the reasoning is behind prebuilt pro kits, its pretty important to know how your car goes together so you can quickly repair or change things on it on a race day. Bought a new losi 8ight 2.0 a couple of months back and that came prebuilt which was silly too.
Should have it for the weekend, all i need to do is get the gay pink anodising changed to something else and i can get it built up !!
What upgrade bits or spares does anyone reccomend ?
Jimmi.

Just usual spares as with any car, front & rear wishbones, shock towers... outdrives seem to be the big weak point of the car but not sure if the new revised ones come standard in the kit now or not, one of the cat drivers will clarify this for you upgrades: front oneway seems to be a popular upgrade

Sorry if this info is already here somewhere, but do any of these have improved outdrives, or are they still being worked on?

Still tempted to try one!

I got a kit today. It has the new outdrives

Also an addendum says 44mm link not 49mm as per manual. Presume this is the new link being discussed above?

Do they have the lightened hole in them, or no?

No lightening holes along the cup of the outdrive recepticle (although the ones from one end of the car are still drilled in the disk part if that makes sense). The dude at MK racing confirmed they were the new ones. He also had a few of these new ones as spares to sell.

Just not sure if this link 44mm is the new one people have been referring to. I
m guessing it is as its mentioned in an addendum inserted into the box.
