my understanding is that a tweaked chassis is a chassis that does not flex evenly or in a linear motion for eg (more bendy on the left cornering) but can still apear straight when unstressed when held against a straight edge
A bend in it is called broken ( polite )

nahh, a tweeked chassis is a chassis that gives uneven shock movements or droop, caused buy a twist or bend, resulting in the car handling like a bag of doo doo,

it's a good thing that those noizie balldiffs aren't in the durango, cose lots of cars make strange noizes when braking or accelerating.

I dont know about ali fatigue ive got oople fatigue on this thread
back on topic i personally need the balldiffs to be released cause the gear diffs are far too heavy for stock racing I do in a hall just bigger than a badminton court....i need bags of aggressive punch so instead i might have too fire up my original prototype durango 2005 balldiffed animal

tweek = no stressmarks (but the baseplate has been reshaped)
bend = stressmarks (white cracks in the aluminium on the bend) |

Get a life stox
you can bend ali with out (white stress marks ) cracks so the new durango must have the front and rear kick up tweaked into it ...lol...&....lol we are speaking on two very different levels but anyway you can win this argument because i cant be bothered to type any more LOL

an alloy chassis can cause tweek, by taking an impact the chassis bends/flexes/etc and often by releasing points mounted to it it will spring back flat, this is common in ic on road ( which i do) indeed you can slack a top deck, twist the chassis, retighten and have a tweeked car.
when alloy flex's its not bent where it is throw away, infact on sever occasions a big hammer can be used. by the same token a plastic or carbon chassis can tweek weather flexi or stiff.

Hello Mark
the club is Faversham and has been running for nearly thirty years the hall is very small but the racing is extremely competative, it often has 50 drivers attend weekly....... shame to change that Mens motors...LOL......theres nothing manly about any toy cars or sides of the sport....lol i mean its hardly a chat up line is it i race (play) with toy cars

Mark, mark, mark, the world does not revolve around large tracks, there are lots of places that need to run a milder motor, for instance. And as much as it is a 'radical departure' from the norm, the selling point of the Durango, is the 'no compromise' layout, finishing touches like the CVD boots etc. Diffs are just a tuning aide, some people will like the edgy feel of a geared diff, some will prefer the feel a ball diff will give.
Some.... might just think that the price is too much, no matter how much they like the kit. Just got to accept, because you run that car, it may not appeal to everyone, or, dare I say.... agree with you.
