agreed,i think that michael was the better of the 2 drivers even tho he acted like a completer tosser sometimes on the track, his driving talent was never in question.
regards rubens,he sat in the car ages before getting out and threw it onto the racing line in a fit of temper, the car wasnt in flames when he threw the wheel. chandlok ran over it and dragged it all the way to the tunnel before it came loose only for bruno to run over what was left of it. if chandlok had hit that wheel wrong it could have launched him over the barriers,or at the very least into them, rubens got no fine for not replacing the wheel...he should have been made to run after it and refit it it was only a couple of weeks ago he was bitching over saftey for other drivers..nice one rubens. |

Yeah it was a crazy thing to do by Rubens - Can't help but feel if it had been one of the leaders coming up to lap him they'd have taken a more serious view which is really unfair on these smaller teams - They're the ones that REALLY can't afford the damage :-(
Those Steering wheels are like £20k or more aren't they? How can he just throw it out like that :-( Anyway, aren't the drivers supposed to re-fit them if they get out of the car as part of the rules anyway? You could tell he was just annoyed as the car broke but that was a very stupid / dangerous & childish thing to do! |
