Serpent is very pleased to officially announce that Gerd Strenge, better known as Mr Durango from Germany, has entered into a long-term cooperation with Serpent, for the development of offroad rc racing cars.

Serpent's R&D team and Gerd Strenge are now working together on a number of projects for the offroad market, but it will take some time before you will see the actual cars being introduced. Although proto-types have been running for a while already.

How about shocks matt? you never got those sorted, infact do you ever have a buggy long enough to learn how to set it up? because from what ive seen its always the buggy thats at fault and not the newbish driver and his dreadful attempt of setting cars up

That depends on what conversion you're talking about. I know for sure that the DEX will be better, but a converted DNX(at least mine with the italian conversion) works really good.

the mid driveshafts are in a V position having more stress than required.

the durango version will be spot on!

I sense coleman has a jealousy thing going on here hes to greed and but cant run three cars!

its an all the gear no idea situation with him if i learnt to setup a car/buggy rather than seeing how many different buggies he can own he could be a better driver....shame

That means the Losi drivetrain is real bad then, yet anyone can tell you how good a Losi is.

I never compared it to a Losi drivetrain, all I said was its no the most ideal way to have the driveshafts. why is it so hard to understand

You actually said the the conversion kits were rubbish as it made the centre diff too far to the side and makes the drive shafts all over the place.......

But the conversion kit doesnt alter any of it. Thats how the Nitro runs and have you heard any problems with the DNX408 ??? They seem to go ok to me.

Fair play then but its nice to see the 408 are running them in line.
