I think the FIA are doing them damnest to help out every other team other than maclaren to be honest, or thats how it looks. Why oh why does the FIA feel it needs to stick it's nose into a teams organisation on a race weekend, the only thing they should be ensuring is cars legality and race craft on the track!
If the team wishes to favour one driver over another, so be it.

Its been done, year after year with teams favouring one driver so why suddenly is it necessary? because the FIA and mosely are getting backhanders from ferrari, thats why.
There was an article in autosport the other week about how since the early F1 days things always go in ferrari's way when decisions are made. obviuosly theres times when they have no choice but to slap their wrists...like the obvious slowing down of barrichello at the finish lines etc. but they had no choice but to do that because it was so publicly displayed. but technical things always seem to go ferraris way, like the time when their bargeboard were deemed illegal in malaysia....then suddenly they were fine and the win was reinstated. Its something to do with ferrari being 'on its own' against all the other british based teams. Still stinks though. ![]() |

..and then use your new-found sight to watch Lewis in karting, FRenault, F3, GP2...
I like Pedro de la Rosa : >>Unlike most drivers, de la Rosa started his career in European radio >>controlled off-road cars. He won the European radio controlled off-road >>car Championship twice between 1983 and 1987. It was only after that >>when he started karting in a local Spanish championship in 1988 when he >>was 17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedro_de_la_Rosa ![]() But He began to race full size cars too "older" and his debut on F1 was on "second level" teams. About FIA.. maybe its time now for another alternative F1 championship.. Most of all, don't forget to have fun!! |

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but........
Hamilton is facing a penalty tonight as Mclaren fitted two sets of wet tyres to his car for first practice instead of only the permitted one set. Decision is to be made tonight by the stewards on what penalty is imposed. |

.....and Alonso says that mclaren are trying to scupper his chances of winning the championship!
Sometimes it looks the other way round. Apparently Bridgestone told Mclaren about Lewis's tyre problem 5 LAPS before he dropped it in china. Who cares about what the weather was doing, surely it would've been better just to get him in for tyres (any type) and have him finish the race. ..and its not the first time this year thats happened either. Favouritism my arse!! |
