Not unless you are using these arms on an optima mid with aluminum chassis.. tell me how can one break the OT-122 chassis, getting crushed by a full scale tank doesn't count !Hmm which gives me an idea, I seem to go through undertrays really quickly, how about a tub aluminum chassis made for lipos, anyone ? Both for the Lazer and LWB Mid of course.

A carbon tub for the Mid would be awesome. You could have fibrelyte make you a tub for a mid based on the new ZXR tub but it would mean having to use a ZXR or tomcat shell to work with the shape of the sidewalls. If you lay a Lazer chassis over a LWB mid chassis you will be surprised at how many holes line up
Hmmm that gives me some ideas for the 21st Century Mid ....

Hi Lazer-fans,
I am still looking for a finned aloi-motorplate for my Lazer. I know, there is a special "wanted" area in the oople-forum, but I want to try it here. If someone should have such a finned-motor-plate an would sell it, I would realy pay a very good price. I have searched on ebay and other places in the web since end of december, but I had no luck Hopeful regards Ralf |

How do you stop the pivot pins from coming out?

Second Lazer
Hi,
this will be my second Lazer, should be a ZX-RR and not a ZX-R like in the discibtion. May be it is a bit overpriced. Perhaps I can sell the ESC. http://www.ebay.de/itm/221387852651?...84.m1439.l2649 Regards Ralf |

I never had a problem as the front kick-up always seemed to keep them in place, might not be the same now with the extra power available today. |

Alternativ ball end (LA 43)
Hi,
some of my ball ends (LA 43 are broken). Are there any other ball ends with better quality than the original, may be from associated or an other factory, that would fit ? Regards Ralf |

I use associated B4 ball joints all round.

Nice work, shouldn't there be an angle on the kick-up plate? |

Nice work, though the deck supports are just the same as the regular ones for a mid?
I love those OTW-9 Battery Posts, any chance you are going to make any more?

I have asked the plastics supplier to make 3 sets of white arms for the ZX. I have simplified the arms and made one smaller oval opening , so the arms are a lot more beefier than stock LA26. Should be ready next week.
One set each for Welshy40, isobaric and then me. I also got a alloy OT-98 upper deck mount for optima mid made up in A6061. |

Yeah, I do that in a panel bender.

Ok yesterday i had a bad day racing and only real issue i had were the zx knuckle arms disconnecting from the wishbone as the kingpins vibrated free and irritated me big time. It turned out after i changed the setup that the tyres i bought were a bad batch and was the reason why I was drastically slow, but using the practice tyres from saturday was quicker in the final so car was not as easy to drive due to my set up changes, never the less car was superb and on practice day was one of the quickest overall.
Now the good news, even though my event was crap i managed to make tenth overall in the Maritime raceway 2013/14 championship and am quite happy that, especially when im driving a vintage. A lot of thanks goes to Alcyon for his patience and making the layshaft, Nuclear Rc (Dave Belsten) for his diff & thrust grease & super glue plus his input in how to better my setup, Fibrelyte & Kamtec for their continuous support. Now to dismantle my gearbox and test this layshaft in a normal gearbox and update Alcyon on whats needed (not much) to be done to finish it so he can start making for all.
