Its good that MRT have managed to bring something out, but im also agreeing with others that it would have been nice to know. I forked out on 2 MyLaps (got one on discount trading in my old AMBPT) as the AMBPT was giving up as the wiring was nakered. I would have made it last if i knew this was coming.

nice to see MRT responding though

i hear what your saying but, as i put previously, i did say it was being worked on in the other threads and that that info came from MRT.....
plus point is you can now have them cloned to the same number

I just simply can't understand why, in these modern times, where everybody is communicating via internet, laptop, mobile phone, tabled, ...
... as an existence on the WWW has become vital for publicity-reasons ...
Team-MRT has a site that has almost none serious info showing.

I know, I know, ... you can request an order form ... but isn't that like returning to the internet-middle-ages, the time where bulletinboards existed?

How hard can it be to publish some simple texts, info, tables with products and prices?
I'm an amateur but I can make a much better site, with some info and pcitures, ... and a basic link to this pdf-orderform... in an hour or so.

Post New MRT RC4

Hi,

-Is the new MRT RC4 backwards compatible with older AMB systems?
-I never owned a PT before, can I buy one without having previously owned a MyLaps or MRT PT?
-Are these preproduction test items or are they really out? (I can't find any info elsewhere)

Thx for replying!

I have answered these before

1/ yes work on rc1 to 4
2/yes you can, that come with a selection of numbers you can choose from in built to the unit.
3/ yes testing finished they are available now as a production unit.

do you have a new and old one?
your correct they do look the same, when you get new if you also have an old one the led is different on switch on, new flashes twice, old goes solid straight away.

Just found out how to tell the difference. When plugging the new one in it blinks twice whilst the old one doesn't if anyone was interested. Going to send my old one off now to get my second one.

I had to question it as it looked the same as the older ones and the instructions are the same as the old one and does not mention that it is a PTX (NS)

Post First PTX (NS)

Just ordered one, my first ever transponder. didn't have to fill in order form 'cause I don't have any PT to clone.

I ordered the NO-TAB version, does anyone know if the MRT R9965 tab base 3-hole will also fit the new PTX (NS) ???
I want to be able to mount it other ways in the future.

Great service
