I've got one that has been raced once up to now, first impressions are that it's a very well balanced car, very responsive to setup changes.
My sons got my old b44 and I've just got rid of my durango as I'm now sticking with this, to compare it with the b44 it seems a bit more stable and doesn't seem to oversteer as easy as the b44 did. Build quality seems quite high and spares prices are low, only problem i have is that to adjust the slipper it needs to be removed from the car, but I'm led to believe there designing a one now with external adjustment. Can only agree with what Jason has said about this car. Had a go with his car yesterday and was very impressed. With a bit of set up work then could be on to a winner. Car looks nicely built to and defiantly looks strong which is a good thing.

Hey every one. I am a Team Driver for Pete at Answer-RC 'uk'. I am racing the SK-10 and will be doing a write up on the car with tip's and mod's to do to the car to get the best out of it. One of the first things I found was the Body shell is not the best fitting thing in the world, so after many hours of hard work, I came up with my own design, I was looking for it to give better down force yet give better room inside the car for the speedo etc. Have a look and let me know if you like it or not?

If enough people like it, it will be going in to production for you all to buy. Raced it today for the first time on an indoor carpet track, it felt to have more low speed steering and was more stable on high speed sweepers! It looks real aggressive and low on the track, won the A final with it, first time out. So really happy with it.

i have only just found out about this car, and i am so impressed, so much car for the money and all the upgrade options available, i have read the thread on rc tech (all 380 odd posts) and allthough there are a few issues (as there are with all cars) they seem to be addressing them in double quick time.
has to be said that the standard shell us a bit rough to say the least but on rc tech they say that the d4 shell fits as does the undertray. i am now saving my pennies for the brushless rtr version as i am on a budget and i will upgrade as breakages dictate.

Does anybody know if the brushless rtr version will take lipo saddles as the battery posts look small and nims have a lower profile than lipos
thanks mike

Yes the buggy will take lipos or any other saddle pack you want, the top of the posts are actually metal screws and can be adjusted in or out to take any type of cell. I am running mine with a ezrun 60amp speedo and a 5.5 motor, goes very well. and the shocks will take the Losi size springs so no problems there, the only thing I've needed to do is tightened the diffs and the centre slipper clutch. Hope this helps. Ashley

thanks for the reply, you have just made my mind up, i also have an ezrun 5.5 but need a new speedo so the rtr will have to do to get me racing.

Really nice car. Newest Pro Kit will come
1. with Front & rear CVD (SKOP034); 2. with Pressure Diff Sets (SKOP035) Front & Rear; 3. Ceramic Balls (Ceramic Balls) x 26 pcs; 4. with White Teflon pistons (SKOP030) x 4 pcs. I think price will be a little bit bigger, but not to much... |
