Did the chassis protector do the job?

So how are people finding the new car?

For me the YZ2 got tons of steering with the stability of a mid motor (especially under braking).
Very nice on carpet, very predictable but stable and very precise steering wise, I like it a lot. Traction could be an issue, got to find out how the car handles on bumpy and wet astro with a good setup. So far so good. |

Been testing today at Robin Hood Raceway. The car was awesome on the bumpy astro. Really safe and predictable and holds such a tight line on power. So good infact that im gonna motor up to a 6.5

Wow guys, I ran my YZ-2 for the first time tonight at West Bridgford. I hadn't raced off-road for almost 18 months and this was intended to be a simple shakedown in readiness for the Mid-East BRCA regional series which starts next Sunday.
The car was simply awesome 1st time out. Really stable, I could really push it through the corners, excellent high-speed turn-in, just needs a bit more at low speed (some weight in the nose will help there). I can't believe the speed in this car and can't wait to start tuning the set-up.

A bit of weight infront of the servo and under the lipo works a treat. Look on LMR website next week for some nice trick weights

Rear shocks were forward for this 1st run, so will also be doing a comparison by running them at the back next week.

I think the majority of the time they will be run on the rear unless you are running super high grip. What is the grip like at your club?

Our carpet is fairly low grip, and with them on the front the set-up was pretty good. Will try a comparison with them on the rear this week.
