Sorry, I was looking at the bottom link - product 6340 - which MK are retailing at £199.99. This is the one I thought was poor value. I agree the £134.99 is much cheaper but if you want nice dampers - and lets face it we all do - we are going to have to pay for it. My point was that B44's etc already come with this stuff and spares are (inevitably) available everywhere etc etc.

I was going to have a punt but I think I'm going to concentrate on 2WD for the time being.

Hi,
I took part to the last french national with my B-Max "mounted the night before the race"; the car was so easy and fast. I qualify Third overall. I took easily Third or second place during qualifying heat. That's really the best feeling i never had with a RC Car...congratulations to Yokomo for this job!

Whats so bad about the standard shocks then? Is this going to be Lipo friendly do you think?

Lipo wise, not great, but I'm confident a Trakpower 3200 saddle will go in if you use BX battery posts and a brace that'll fit. Don't see the standard battery holder working, and the top deco may get in the way of 4900's!?

It's also possible Schumacher battery straps will work!

Did you run totally standard car, or use bx dampers etc?

Also for anyone running the car what spur/pinion/motor are you using?

I use the MR4 BX dampers and that's all. The car is grea and so easy tomake fast lap!!
Kit come with a 87 Teeth spu gear I wuld prefer a 84 or 81 because i was not able to put a bigger pinion than 20teeth. Anon this very slippery track i'd rather use a 21or 22...

How have you set up the shocks? Using bx fronts with black springs I'm struggling to get the front low enough?
