Actually, Exotek have done an amazing job with the template provided to align for drilling the new holes, piece of solid fibre board that you screw on using the old screw holes allowing alignment to drill the new ones very easily and accurately. But I will do it for you, just need a portrait done of me looking slim and attractive in return ;-)

Back on topic: How do you like your laydown transmissions? Yesterday I saw some guys working on theirs, and on our track they only started to like it after they had moved the rear shocks forward. This involved cutting up a second shock tower as a spacer and drilling some holes in the rear arms, but seemed to work pretty good.

I ran my lTLR laydown at a club night on Sunday on older carpet
I bought new mini pins for the rear at the beginning of the night as i was concerned the ones i had were maybe a bit worn. I did need the new tires. I have so much rear end grip its unreal. The car felt quicker and as i got to grips with it, I got quicker through the night as well awesome bit of kit, and awesome car. RC Car action car of the year and peoples choice car of the year |

First time I ran my Exotek Laydown last night after having it for a few weeks waiting. Haha
I was amazed how much better car is with it. Corners much flatter and seems alot more predictable. I ran quite worn tyres all night and didn't feel it hindered me that much. I will be trying thicker diff oil for next week. The track I run on I would class as medium grip Overall, a big improvemnt |

Fitted the Exotek lay down box the other week and its fantastic!
The quality is spot on and it improves an already great car to an awesome car! I found it easy to drive in both the wet and the dry. I am able to push the car much harder yet it remains predictable and planted. Great job Exotek!! |
