Will normal lexan paint be usable for those shock protectors? They look like they are made of normal clear pastic and not polycarbonate.

kf on low grip dirt
Hello, I'm looking forward to buy the kf, my problem is my local track is made of dirt and low grip, after a short love story whith a x cubed, that handle the track like a "sausage" in comparaison whith my b4.2, i'm looking for a change, well I know the kr would be the car, but nothing to write home about.
However I really like the kf and belt transmission, I wonder if whith a ball diff, alloy rear trans, shorty packs, the car would work in low grip conditions? Any pieces of advice. Thanks a lot. |

I brought K1 and KF chassis protectors from the link in Mikey Scott's reply, awesome service and product. They are pre cut to the exact shape and even have the holes in them for the screws on the underside of the chassis. For the money you can't beat them.

Took mine out for the first time proper yesterday and took the B final wining 2 legs outright and 2nd in the 3rd. The track started out very wet, the car needed a few tweaks and just got better and better throughout the day.
The I between lipo weight helps and running the SWB was a doddle Here's some pics

Ok, there must issues with this car it can't be perfect . I've seen a few broken front hubs but I think that being dealt with. Is there anything else ?
Don't misunderstand the post, I like the car, I want one, I just want to know if there's any issues .

If you crash every lap you might break a hub or yoke but you only would in any other car. I've found no problems with mine nothing at all It's the easiest to drive 2wd car I've had seriously It's f***ing quick!! National winner 2014.....

I love the car how it handles and drives... but I would like some more rear grip on some slippy parts of the track.
This is the track i drive this winter on I've already ordered the Trishbit KF weight hope this help a little bit.
