I hated every Lego Technic I had with worm drive, It would be SLOOOOOOW.

That's not the motor - do you see the belt and pulley? I've actually imagined this - the diff is NOT between the driveshafts, it's further forward - my guess is with separate belts to drive each wheel. In 2wd, midmotor was the Holy Grail. And now, in 4wd, it's mid-diff!

Disclaimer: I could be terribly wrong. It happens.

I'm guessing now 3 belts, centrally placed LiPos, motor up front, drop out gear boxes (like proto Durango)...
