I finally finished my restoration project, and I would like to share this with you guys.
Body and undertray is repro from team bluegroove and the wing is genuine same as the decals. Brand new genuine parts used and for 100% restored.

Kind regards from Belgium

No mate, no idea. The rear alloy top deck mount is the most important as i know someone who might sell me a nice blue motor plate with fins. I think that several companies made them, one being MMS but i cant think of the other company. Maybe Iso knows, as he is now more in the know than me.

Iso,

if you know someone who has a used on then id be up for buying it. The main item being the top deck rear mount as this will dissapate the heat from my X12 5.5, also im puzzled. The zx slipper system, does it work when you grease it as ive not greased and its just slipping big time.

FYI ive given kamtec a gear cover and ZXR undertray so soon almost everything will be available. Im calling Keith to see if they can update the website with tomcat shell. I cant wait to get it painted.

is this what your talking about

ebay-lazer02.jpg

I have a kyosho LM-15 motor cooling plate if you want it, might help.

Just a little side note, try to have kamtec make the gear covers in the original tan lexan....much nicer....I need one for my racer, which is complete by the way, just need the lexan pieces.

No the actual plate has fins on it so is basicallY twice as thick as the standard. The fins you have i cant use due to where my receiver and aerial fits. I use an lrp 5.5 X12 and the heat is stupid so the best way to take the heat away is having alloy an block as well so it goes across the chassis to the L plate on the other side. That should save me a blown motor.

Ive already sent a clear gearcover so i doubt he will be able to do.

You could always tint a clear one with some paint? I'd prefer a clear one tbh, not factory original but easier to work with.

You are watching the problem in the wrong direction ..... the Lrp X12 motors are famous for the high temp problem.
The solution is easy, keep your lazer with the plastic support and change your motor .

Otherwise you will be ending in buying the full Lazer alloy chassis http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130336497397 ...

Bye

Nope, I actually had this when I ran corally in my ZXR and the only way to get the motor to stop overheating and burning out the brushes was to use the alloy mount. The plastic doesnt do anything and a fan is not easy to fit and keep in the same place, and it doesnt do much to reduce the heat. I found using the metal heatsink, metal mount and metal L plate really did reduce the heat, and the X12 works fine for me. the alloy chassis, I could bend that in one event so isnt worth buying.

Funnier, Ok I have the rarest item, a kick up plate for the ZXS, second most rarest a new set of yokomo wheel adaptors, third rarest a sticker sheet for the ZX-S and then fourth rarest front belt and last but not least a rear belt.

UM560.02? I have ideas but please update us all. Am I guessing these will be for the YZ10 wheel hubs, so no uj parts sticking out, so a possible mod on the hub itself? This is now very interesting. You and me had better have words, your starting to get the creative bug like me.

For all of you out there this is what he is on about. Look at the link.

http://www.gshobby.com/index.php?mai...ducts_id=18168

Custom custom special special, I have that and more on the one I currently run, but this idea is what I have been thinking of for a while on my race buggy as I have a few issues due to the front width This may sort it out. They look great (ZXS buggies)
