Rob, you and your car looked really good, dialled almost
![]() We do need more jumps, Northy may (or may not) have put in less than normal to make us vintages less likely to break ![]()

I was on my own. It was different to a 'usual' York track. We have a shortage of stuff to build jumps with really. G

If Verminator is around, big jump that only a few can do, plus a little twistier.
G mate, the track on Saturday was excellent. Given a choice id choose that over one where a clean lap is hard to get without crawling so not to roll. |

Hello
Are there going to be any vintage heats at York during the indoor season? Keith |

Cheers Dan, i was well impressed with the xx4 especially since it was the first time out with it, still not sure if the 6.5 is enough though. Re me, i like you too but not in that way, i was never confused lol
No doubt i'll be back up there at some point so Chris can get revenge and show me how to get over the bumpy bits. ![]() |

Not on Lipo, using some old Batt 4000's untill my Corally 42's turn up. I'm geared at 20 84 with a Losi 6.5t i think all the Losi's are sintered. It felt very soft if you know what i mean, but i had been practicing earlier in the day with my Corally on roader with a 3.5t so its all relative.......
![]() The Motor was pretty cool compared to my TC after a run, just worried about runtime at Worksop but after the 6 laps of practice and a 7 minute final without dumping i could be worried for nothing. |

The softness is likely to be the cells, which you can compensate with a faster motor (ah the beauty of brushless), but if you're getting new cells I wouldn't bothed.
That said if you want to keep running the old cells all winter then a faster motor would compensate. I did this at this years York regional. I would normally run a 6.5L but the straight was long and I was on last years cells (keeping new ones for nationals) so ran a 5.5L. It got hotter than a 6.5L with new cells would have been but still fine for use. I think the 4.5 would be too much at Worksop becasue there is no drag, but it's your money ![]()
