Yes, but kindof got side tracked with the tomcat shell and zxr undertray. Plus many other developments such as lipo tray design which i will post picks when it arrives in the post. However ive done one for the zxs already. As soon as i know when the undertrays done i can get the gearcover to him.

Dont forget ive still got those original yokomo adaptors.

Well there is a problem with the spur gears. RW cannot replicate the 8 posts that make the TM12 double slipper pad fit perfectly. So Im having a proto made first and will test on the zx and hyper clutch and let you guys know how it goes.

Welsh sorry no update ok i had put on the machined arms on but that as far as it goes.

I have been busy with my daughters cars RC10/schumacher xls and having them run at my local club. Just aquried ( spelling ) some yokomo hubs for the xls and cleaning up un rather nicely painted body that i got for a bargain .

the RC10 is a screamer with an "kyosho stock 05" but mostly due to an very small pinion.

The xls actually have a new blue bird servo other stuff is just pure vintage down to panasonic nicad cant manage to throw the cells away since they are working.

Iso, RC10 original metal chassis you cant go wrong. I couldnt get on with the XLS when I had one, even though it was being used to dominate through the 90's on carpet in Wales in the hands of Jon Tucker (I actually had his one).

Cant wait to see your ZXS built mate. Looking forward to seeing it.

On the subject of the Tomcat shell I have been given an update today that they are doing the finishing touches on the wing and when thats done (possibly within a couple of weeks) they will put onto their site so everyone can buy.

They have no undertray made as of yet but is in the pipleine to be moulded (I sent an original to them) as well so that will have to be sourced elsewhere for the meantime. Hope that is of help.

Also I should be getting the Lipo tray sides for my ZXR-S and also should be getting by the end of next week the associated blue Lipo posts and thumb screws so should look great when fitted. I have also managed to acquire the Zeppin Brass chassis parts for the chassis slots so will mean a lower centre of gravity as the cell holes will be filled with brass and when I have finished with my design the weight distribution will be almost exactly the same as when I used NIMH so should mean the original settings should be very good. I will post a picture of the brass items later today.

I have also managed to figure out what I did wrong on the ZX slipper and is now working correctly. All I need is a spur gear to test properly. This should be the end of slipper pads for good if I get a 50/50 drive train from my rear end one way and front end one way. Cant wait to test it properly.

Welsh nice looking bits.

Yeah the rc 10 works great running rc500 front rims in the rear and rc10L rims on the front maybe it should work better with standar rims in front but hey i dont think she will notice the difference. The rear foams are just super soft and i dont know what they are even the local guys are impressed about theire softness. The xls well it was in working condition and my youngest daughter said that she want to run it so thats why shall get them some proper lazer when i get som bodies. hardest part with the xls is to get an pinion for the 32pitch spur heck who sell those anymore not a soul i´ll guess.

Shall post some vids later when they run them or pics.

Ok will do matey when I have time. I have 8 or 9 sets of the original stickers so when I remember where I put them I will scan for you.

Talking of Hyper clutch items, I have found the part number for the layshaft and have ordered one direct from Japan. LAW12-1Z

Cheeky git

If my test on the ZX slipper works correctly (I will post once I get my spur gears made) I will be in need of another to fit to my ZX-S.

I have made my own spur for the ZX-S and looks a bit of a hash job but fits together rather nicely.

Just need the thrust race LA9 to make it work, as if you replace with a normal bearing it does not work at all.
