I'm not going to make it in time to get a car on the track..

Bodyshell turned up today so it will be off for painting so won't be back in time for friday...

I'll bring my camera though and take some pics.

Mike I know Paul Knight has a new body for his RC10 So couldn't you borrow his old shell?

Only if paul would let mike cut up the front as it wont go through the truck shock mount on the front otherwise.
I've got another shell as well but i dont really want to cut the front up

Tower hobbies, the wings are on there to. there may be somewhere uk based you can get them but i normally go there as you can get a lot of associated bits and bobs from there. Theyre normally in stock and it makes it worth the wait.
However last time i ordered from them it was here in 5 days.

Cheers, think I'm gonna get me one of those, yours looks ace got my original shell on there atm, not even sure what brand it is but it looks awful !

My best bet is that its a viper, they look okay but the protech looks the dogs danglies. So glad i got one now!

Thanks Brian, I've got a Viper, and don't like that either dunno what the other shell is, it came from a UK manufacturer back in the 80's but it ain't a looker ....

Probably fits in to the same category as a Tamiya 501XWE as thats discontinued or I guess a B44 as thats now been replaced by the .1, technically the X5 is their current car pending their new one isnt it ?

Yeah, its still x-factories current 4wd despite being dis-continued.

To meet the vintage rules does it have to be made before a certain date?

Im sitting back and getting the pop corn on

Yes mate, pre 94 and pre 98 I believe with much debate as to some sort of handicap system similair to golf for later cars
