Default clarification on using JC Rulux wheels

i've searched through the forum regarding fitting JC Rulux wheels to the CAT SX and whilst there is some information, please can someone clarify which parts i need to fit these front wheels ?.

if i use the B44 front hex - can that be fitted with no modifications or does it need drilling out to fit on the SX axle ?.

also, if anyone has the p/no for the hex that'd be great

sorry to ask again but i'd rather order the correct parts

thanks

I haven't tried it personally, but i'm fairly sure the hex will go straight on. The Losi one does, and everyone says that the Losi and B44 will fit each other. So B44 should fit SX. Bear in mind i haven't tried it personally though!!

I've tried the B44 hex, and I confirm what MattW said

just to follow up on this - as already stated it's a perfect fit and the roll pin supplied with the schumacher hexes in the kit is the correct length.

imho, the rulux wheels look a lot better than the dished wheels and run true (which is nice)

Are the rear rulux wheels the same offset as the schuey ones (fronts look the same offset)? If so, does anyone know what offset the schuey ones are (look like 2mm... but, y'know... I DO wear glasses....).

I use the Rulux wheels exclusively on my cat. I have run both the B44 and the standard CAT hexes without issue.

You can run the Standard CAT hexes - you just need to pay attention to the way you put them on. Easier and more idiot proof though to use the B44 hexes.

Cheers

Darryn
