Default Lipo charging help.

I have baught 2 new lipos. Is there anything I should be aware of charging for the first time? Any help apreshiated

plug in,

balance charge,
then press start, i use a lipo sack for safety thats it

and set at correct charge rate,double check it is the correct cell count, It may ask you to confirm it. then wait for the beep at the end of the charge. Nothing much to it really.

ALWAYS CHARGE IN A LIPO BAG, seen one blow up at a national, only cost about £5.

I always charge on 4.2v make sure your lipo charger in on the right setting, ie 3.7v in my case, heard people charging at 5.6amps IF the lipo is 5600, 6.5 been 6500, simple, but like I say for me 4.2v.

the charge rate is the capacity / 1000 for 1C, capacity / 1000 x 2 for 2c
5000mah / 1000x1 = 5A, 5000mah / 1000x2 = 10A 6500 / 1000x1= 6.5A doesn't make a difference on how many cells the lipo has, but you must make sure the cell count on the charger matches that of the lipo. Most modern chargers will need a confirmation that it is charging what you wanted to charge, or will detect different ammount of cells through the balance connector.
