Default B44.3 Motor mount onto B44.2

Hi.

Will the B44.3 motor mount fit directly into the B44.2?
I am struggling with the B44.2 motor mount and its proving very difficult to mesh the motor correctly, even with 81 tooth spur, and 21 tooth pinion on my Speed Passion motor.

Its either miles off or just solid tight with the B44.2 mount. Spent about 2 hours now, and even swapped out for a spare mount I had with the same issue.

Cheers
Mark

Not looked too closely, but pretty sure it won't fit.

44.3 arrangement is much better; 44.2 eccentric adjustment can be a bit stiff, and it needs to be clean, plus the motor can has to have clearance against the chassis. But I always managed to adjust it correctly - 81/21 should be ok.

I wonder if it's clearance against the chassis then, as it does get stiff.

I have ordered a 2nd hand B44 mount to try for now.
Cheers
