Default B max4 running as 2wd

Any info on converting Bmax4 to a 2wd. E.g hybrid chassis or front end.

just remove the front bones to give it a try; you will like it. If you keep it like that you can remove the front center driveshaft as well.

Yes, the weight of the diff is needed.
I remember I didn't really make a lot of adjustments, I even drove it with the 10k diff oil in the rear. I played a bit with different shock positions in the front I think and a tad lighter front shock oil; the chassis used was the LC chassis with shorty.

Well that was a interesting day! The first few laps with the Bmax4 felt quite good. I used the 4wd cut staggers but it gave to much grip. Switched to 2wd lp staggers and it was much better.
Didn't used the diff in front for extra weight.
No swaybar in front but i used the 1.8 in rear (didn't have thinner). 1.8 was to thick for 2wd.
Diff rear had 10k, next time i will try 7, 5 and 15.
550 cst black yatabe spring front (next time 500 cst)
450 cst green yatabe spring rear (next time a bit harder spring, yatabe orange)

The car is not as fast as the YZ2 (switched back to back today) but the bmax4 has potential and it's fun to drive! Can't wait for next time!

Sunday testday!

Just got back after some more testing.
Changed the rear rollbar to 1.4, which worked out great icw 5k diff oil.
Shock oil was the same because it was a hot day...
I changed the rear spring to Yatabe Orange, also much better.
I added more kickup but didn't work out for me.
Still looking for some more steering. Next time I will try YZ4 front arms and knuckles.

Overall quite happy with the improvements. Car was easy to drive, planted on high grip astro.
