I guess I'll have to be patient a while longer. I am going to try some BOCA bearings orange seal and wanted to have them in hand for the new build, undoing the kit to replace bearings afterwards is never fun. And before anyone says it, I know Schumacher have included rubber sealed bearings that are real good and I've never had a problem with them in the past...but these BOCA bearings are abec 7 tolerences that are supposed to be the best available.

I'll let people know if it makes a difference.

As people are hanging out what they have in order to get one. Surly they may miss the sales boat if people are forced to choose something else, especially since the nationals have started and I wouldn't have thought that people would want to change cars half way through a season?

Did I mention that the $$$$ is burning a hole in my pocket!

Schumacher starts to distribute kits just after they get last parts and have done it's quality control on them. So depending on delivery of last parts depends whole distribution of kits and that's also something they can't affect.

The S1 is looking good value. The SX3s appeared to go well last weekend, even if Kev Lee took the meeting.

They are testing a LOT of different chassis options, so not everything is finalized yet.

Chassis are all made in-house in the UK so wont affect release date, the biggest thing for all manufacturers meeting deadlines is the stuff from outside far east suppliers - there's a lot of things to gather together!

It's looking a fast car, we've got some on order.

Someone was asking about the bearing sizes I'm the centre mount, here they are:

2x 5x10x4
3x 5x9x3
1x 5x8x2.5
1x 4x8x3

2 of the 5x9x3's are used as belt rollers for the rear belt and the 5x8x2.5 is a bearing that the spur gear fits on.

WOW some of those bearings are £20 each. The sx kit though is £300+ How is that? They sound good with the 50% faster spinning and all that but don't think I could justify the money
