Looking for some advice as to what motor to run in my new durango dex210 at stotfold, i have only run 4wd there so any advice would be much appreciated
Been looking at the Tekin redline 7.5t & 8.5t & also the sp & vampire versions as well
Also if you have any for sale please pm me with how much you want for it

Hi Gainsy

Not sure if you already have a speedo sorted for the new car but the orca q spark combos are pretty awesome value, and include the latest rx2 motor. Effectively the speedo comes to about £60

I'd agree with the 7.5 turn suggestion.

Cheers

Thanks Kev
That's a tasty looking deal , but
I already have a speed passion ordered with Matt at Telstar so don't want to go back on my word with him but i do like the price of the Tekin redlines on your site now that is Very tempting

No worries, just thought I'd mention it as it's a speedo that seems to get overlooked!

If i was to choose between the orca motor or the redline motor which would you recommend? i know you sell them both but if you had to choose 1 over the other which would it be?

That's a tricky answer for me to give as I'm a Tekin driver, so I am biased towards the Redline and love Tekin products. Also, I've never run an rx2 motor so it would be hard to compare. The redlines are very smooth so in my opinion hard to beat in offroad. Only other thing I can add is that they are both competition motors at a similar price, so I don't think you'll be disappointed which ever way you go.

Having tried both Orca rx2 and Tekin 7.5t, I found the tekin had more of a linear feel, which is better for a 2wd.
