Sponsorhip for London to Brighton Off Road Ride 22nd Sept
Hi All,
I will be doing the London to Brighton bike but with a bit of a difference. It’s going to be Off Road (of course). It’s a 75 Mile ride through some pretty tough terrain apparently so no doubt it’s going to be hellish. I’ve been training for about 6 months so am looking at doing it between 5-8 hours so want to push myself for a decent time. I would like to ask the kind people of Oople to sponsor me in this quest. I have a very personal reason for doing this event as my Dad has had several heart attacks over the years, 6 in total . The most recent was this year when I was at the Stotfold National. I had a phone call from Mum saying that Dad was in hospital. Since that weekend I’ve been planning this event. Below is a link to my page, if you could spare any money for this I would be eternally grateful. Danny http://www.justgiving.com/Danny-McGeeMTC

I think your doing a fantastic job,and sorry to hear about your father.
I'd be interested to know what bike you own? i do a lot of Mountain biking myself, great fun. I ride down at Swinley forest. 75 MILES is A Heck of LOT!,Especially for a mountain bike. Me and my friend do about 10 miles every weekend or so and it KILLS us. Its much easier on a road bike,(higher geared and no terrain, just plain smooth road) but with Mountain biking you have rocks, gravel, mud etc etc. ITS VERY DIFFICULT!. Anyway,i wish you all the best of luck. Thanks.
