Default tamiya trf 2wd

i have just been looking at the new tamiya trf 2wd its not been offical yet that there gonna release one yet but by looking at this it looks like its gonna be one hell of a car and a chapion

but i dont get this why is the chassis 5 cell why not 6 cell

well the car is made by some guys in Finland - not Tamiya. It does look very cool, though I'm not sure if they are tried it again yet (which is a shame if so)

maybe with it being mid motor, it will have less drive and therefore more power is a hinderance

Who knows, it looks nice though, but i wonder how it will fly with cells down one side

5 cells can be commonly used for dirt...just makes the power smoooother...these guys obviously like that feel and therefore made the car around it...means you can run faster motors but smooooooooooothly....

Either that or the guys usually race touring cars and use 5 cells for that !

Default trf tamiya 2wd drive buggy

Actually tamiya have created a 2wd drive version of their basic DT-02, they call it the dt-02 ms, this is actually on sale now:

Yes but thats just a tamiya, its not a TRF so its not really good enough to race at all.

I'm sure its a good fun car, a guy at work just bought the standard car for his son and it seems like a decent fun chassis. Very far from a real 2WD racer attempt. I do really hope they made a 2WD though.

thats a massive misconception that it isn't good if it isn't a TRF, ok lots are made for the toy market, but they got two very good racing chassis's out there.... the DT02 isn't one though...

I didnt say it wasnt good, just its not suitable to race competatively in 2wd
